RESPECT AND RESPONSIBILITY
|
In an effort to promote good character in our school the Burnside Elementary staff and students are participating in the "Salute to Good Character" program. Each month each class will nominate one adult and one student who exhibits character traits relating to our word of the month. The nominees must be a student, staff member, and/or volunteer at Burnside Elementary. Respect and Responsibility will be the anchor words and highlighted throughout the school year. Each month a different virtue will be highlighted. Below is a table that shows the virtue words and colors and winners from our school each month. Also there is a link at the bottom of the page to the district Character Education website. |
