Kindergarten registration for the 2018-2019 school year is scheduled for Friday, April 13. In order to enroll in Kindergarten for the 2018-2019 school year, children must turn five (5) years old on, or before, August 1, 2018 (KRS 158.030).
-- PRESCHOOL --
Preschool registration for the 2018-2019 school year is scheduled for Friday, April 13.
-- KINDERGARTEN EARLY ENTRANCE --
A child may be considered for early entrance to kindergarten if the child
(1) will turn five years old after August 1, but on or before October 1;
(2) is academically, socially, and emotionally ready for kindergarten;
(3) a request for early entrance is submitted by May 1, 2018.
Requests for early entrance may be submitted online, using the form found here. Or paper applications (download) are also accepted at the Pulaski County Board of Education, 501 E. University Dr. Somerset, KY 42503.
